Balkan Sundays is happy to be tucked away in the beautiful garden of Arcana this week. Each week we get some of the top musicians in the local (and sometimes not so local) Balkan scene to bring you fun and danceable music. This week we have Balkan Boost, who will be Joey Friedman (saxophone), Geoffrey Lee (sousaphone), Sean Tergis (percussion), Faisal Zedan (percussion) and Calvin Lai (clarinet). It's high energy and good vibes. Bring an instrument to sit in. We'll be playing a lot of common Balkan Sundays repertoire. Bring your dancing shoes to shake your buttocks.

... BUT the most important thing is to bring yourselves. We will be celebrating the birthday of beloved community member and musician, Calvin Lai. We celebrated his birthday exactly one year ago at Arcana and it was one of the most fun and joyous Balkan Sundays we’ve ever had. We expect it to be just as epic. Don’t miss it!
