Bulgarika is a group of five Bulgarian maestros with decades of performing experience. They toured the US in 2018 including a show at Ashkenaz. They are back touring for another 3 1/2 months this year.

All of these musicians have been steeped in Bulgarian music and rhythms beginning at a young age. In their performances and playing for dances they draw on both their formal and informal training, as well as their experiences as teachers.
