Balkan Sundays is happy to host La Zuli this week!
La Zuli is a collaboration between Bay Area musicians Anis Sehiri (guitar) and Briana Di Mara (violin), weaving fresh original melodies and danceable rhythms influenced by music everywhere from Spain to North Africa to the Balkans and beyond. With lush harmonies and improvisations combined with powerful bass (Erin Wilkerson) and percussion (Aaron Keirbel), the music is uplifting and inspiring.
