Edessa will be at Balkan Sundays this week and we are very happy to have special guests Souren Baronian and Rowan Storm. Souren has a unique style which draws on his Armenian heritage and, having grown up in Spanish Harlem, jazz. He is a multi-instrumentalist but he will mainly be on G clarinet and riqq this Sunday. Rowan is a pioneer of frame drum technique who as traveled throughout the US, Europe and Middle-East performing and teaching. These lovely musicians will be joining the evening with Edessa, a band that plays music from all over the Balkans including Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Armenia and more. This is an extra special evening since Souren and Rowan are not in town very often. Don't miss it!!!
