Balkan Sundays will be in full effect this week with an extra special rotating house band line up. We will have our favorite Macedonian trumpet player (you have to come to find out who but, if you're in the loop, you already know who), Nina Nena Lovre II on accordion/vocals (it's very rare that we are blessed with her presence), Andrew Cohen on tuba (it's actually a helicon), and Ivan Velev on tupan (Balkan Sundays is always better with this splendid Bulgarian). We expect some more people to come sit in (you know who you are and, if you don't, maybe you should do a meditation retreat or something). As always, it will be at Revolution Cafe in SF and as usual, it will be 8:30pm - 11:30pm (sometimes it's 9pm - midnight). I think that's enough sentences with parenthesis (for now anyways).
